"In the name of Reason..."
Faith in the Higher Order
Striving for excellence in everything
White, blue, red, black robes for metistons.
Men of quality and caliber, courage and intelligence, good hygiene, etc.
Hero/champion type of training.
Adventures. Real ones.
Recognizing the imperfections of man, you are allowed a maximum of 2 vices
The thing with coming up with ideas about this whole concept, is that I can draw from history, from fiction, from all kinds of sources. I mean, there are the examples of the Teutonic Knights, shaolin monks, catholic monks, Vulcans from star trek, and so on. There is an abundance of material to draw from. I shall take some good ideas from all sorts of places, and apply them if I can. Also, in the areas of testing for membership, or first off testing for myself, I can study up on various IQ tests, on different tests of performance, in intelligence, athletics, creativity, moral character (give some tasks to test willpower, capacity to contribute, etc.). Naturally, whatever I come up with, I must be able to conquer those challenges and objectives myself.
I am capable of accomplishing or achieving anything which does not violate Natural laws.
The ability to do things that the average man is incapable of doing. To accomplish things the average man does not have the power to.
Mestiton support/backup card.
The perfection of self. The perfection of society and the world into universal enlightened order.
Awards and rewards. Silver hawks, gold boars.
Searching for the Holy Grail, that is, something special and holy, exploring and testing yourself. What is it exactly? I do not know, but a man must quest for it with as much determination and resourcefulness as he can muster.
So what shall the emphasis be? Are Metistons mostly formed from the concept of the conquistador, the adventurer/explorer, the aggressive mercantilist?
A Metiston should be good at just about everything that a man should ideally be capable and competent in. He should be great in at least 1 thing on top of this.
Fast track in rank for those who demonstrate Mestistonic capabilities already.
Path to Perfection, to each their own path.
The Gift of Reason

To seek and defeat challenges and tests of abilities and character. To gain experience and sensations. To formulate goals and to accomplish them. To overcome and reach ever higher heights. Beating challenges.
Exceptionalism. Solid competence and efficiency in all endeavors or chosen vocation as a mandate.
The triumph of Reason. Good conduct. If you allow any vulnerabilities or flaws of moral character within your actions or habits then you necessarily open the door to greater flaw. Be aware of this, even if having no ill behavior at all is not humanly possible.
What is the fundamental, absolute truth? That the mind is the center of all things, and the most powerful force in the universe?
Society for the improvement of the individual as well as the society and world community as a whole.
Men who are ambitious and self-determined yet who also follow rules and who can obey group structure, ruthless for a good cause, aggressive and competitive yet also helpful and cooperative. Therefore, the symbol could be the yin-yang or some derivation of it. Civilized, cultivated gentlemen.
Developing an inner force which allows these men to accomplish feats which are beyond the average. To be able to do things, get things done, change and influence, protect, stabilize and harmonize. To be an element for good in the world. The inner power and those capabilities. The force. Or rather the Mestitonic spirit. The strength.
To spread universalist civilization around the world.
